Professional Background

EDUCATION

Rosanna Matos graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 1999, where she also completed her postgraduate studies in Civil Procedural Law. She is fluent in the English and Spanish.

BEGINNINGS

In 2018 she founded the firm Rosanna Matos & Asesores, expanding her practice to other areas of expertise, with an emphasis on the aspects of the law related to local and international trade.

Our founding partner has vast experience, from her years of professional practice,in the areas of structuring and implementation of real estate and tourism projects, business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, construction law, litigation,arbitration and everything related to trusts and estate planning.

She has done an specialization in Intellectual Property Law at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD); Real Estate Law in the Fundación Institucionalidad y Justicia Inc. (FINJUS) and the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU); Criminal Procedural Law at the Fundación Institucionalidad y Justicia Inc. (FINJUS) and the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU).
